The best way to be involved with Legacy is through committee participation. Committees provide an opportunity for each member to make personal and professional connections to interesting people and exciting projects. Click on the committee below to learn more about the opportunities each has to offer.

EDUCATION

Provide access and opportunities to participate in needed educational services. Apprise members of upcoming educational events and coordinate and engage members in activities that promote education in our region.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Encourage and promote the participation of members in nonprofit and human service endeavors within our region, in order to better the lives of individuals and families and/or assist with strengthening communities, especially those in need of additional support.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Provide insightful and meaningful lifelong unity between members, community leaders and the community. Coordinate a progressive mentoring program, leadership retreats and other activities/program involvement that foster leadership within our members.


 
MEMBERSHIP

Recruit and acclimate new members. Distribute applications, roster, mailings, collect dues, and track committee participation. Inform membership of upcoming events.

NEW GOVERNANCE

Get more young professionals involved in public affairs—networking more effectively, promoting an avid interest in Kentucky and national public policy and government relations and sharing information in a bipartisan manner. While fostering leadership and promoting success to build influence, the committee will have a voice in the direction of our commonwealth and our nation.

 

PARKS &
GREEN SPACE

Create and support initiatives that enhance existing and establish new opportunities for cultural, entertainment and recreational activities in our region.

Provide opportunities for members to interact with one another and community leaders in order to foster relationship building and networking.

PUBLIC RELATIONS

Shape the internal/external image of Legacy, including corporate identity, website, newsletters, marketing and public relations.

ROEBLING MURALS AT THE COVINGTON RIVERFRONT

To facilitate the creation of a series of murals along the Covington Riverfront depicting the history of Covington, Northern Kentucky, and the Suspension Bridge.
